Abbey Winter- Physiotherapist
We’re so privileged to have Abbey join the team at Bump Recovery Physio!
Abbey completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University in 2019, and has been building a strong foundation in musculoskeletal, sports, and post-operative rehabilitation ever since. Over the years, her passion for supporting women’s health has grown—leading her to specific training in this area in 2022, and complete her Women’s Health Level 2 certification in 2024.
Abbey is especially passionate about postnatal care and recovery. She’s dedicated to walking alongside women through every stage of life, helping them feel strong, supported, and confident in their bodies—whether that’s managing pregnancy-related aches and pains, navigating postpartum healing, or working toward long-term wellbeing goals.
Originally from the Upper Hunter, Abbey relocated to Newcastle in 2023 and has continued to deepen her skills in women’s health, including completing her Pessary Training with Dr Melissa Davidson (Auckland). She brings with her not just experience, but a warm and down-to-earth approach, always striving to offer the most patient-centred care possible.
When she’s not in the clinic, Abbey enjoys hitting the gym, spending time with her family and her two dogs, and planning her next travel adventure.
We’re so lucky to have Abbey on board—her care, knowledge and genuine love for helping others is already making a real impact.
